8:50 p.m. The second earthquake in two days to shake Southern California, centered close to the first, hit at 8:19 p.m. today. As was the case with the first, the °µÍø½ûÇø campus was unaffected by the shaking.

Today's 7.1 magnitude earthquake was centered in the desert roughly 125 miles north of Los Angeles. While this quake also was felt throughout the region, it caused no damage or interruption of any services at °µÍø½ûÇø.

July 4, 12:15 p.m. The earthquake that rattled Southern California this morning had no impact on the °µÍø½ûÇø campus. The 6.4 magnitude earthquake that occurred at 10:33 a.m. was centered in the desert 125 miles north of Los Angeles. While felt throughout the region, it was too far from °µÍø½ûÇø to cause any problems. Los Angeles city officials also report no damage.
