
Warren Anderson serves as Occidental’s vice president for community and equity where he leads expansive and innovative strategies that advance community and equity in its most expansive forms, including civil rights protections. Warren has spent 25 years working in the education field ensuring access and success for all students, especially those from historically excluded populations. Prior to joining the °µÍø½ûÇø community, Warren served as the inaugural vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion at Bradley University. He has also served in senior and executive level roles at the University of Wisconsin System, Harrisburg Area Community College System, and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
Originally from Philadelphia, PA, he received his doctorate in Education Administration and Leadership from Widener University, his master’s degree in education (Multicultural Education and Urban Transformation) from The Campolo School for Social Change at Eastern University, and a bachelor’s degree from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.
