Juan is the program coordinator of the Neighborhood Partnership Program (NPP) at °µÍø½ûÇø. In his capacity, he coordinates a robust college access and success program centered on providing support for first-generation, underrepresented students in the Los Angeles Unified School District and preparing them for success in higher education. As a first-generation college graduate who grew up in East Los Angeles and experienced educational inequity, Juan brings his passion for equity and social justice to every aspect of his work with °µÍø½ûÇø. Juan is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), where he majored in Chicanx Studies and double-minored in history and education.
