Alyssa Escalante is the Stage Management Consultant on our production of POTUS.
Alyssa is a proud graduate of the °µÍø½ûÇø theatre department (2010) who has worked throughout the Los Angeles theatre community for the past fifteen years primarily as a stage manager. Additionally, she has worked as a producer and director on several projects. Her work has brought her to many of the nation’s regional theaters. Currently, Alyssa serves as the Production Coordinator and Resident Stage Manager at Pasadena Playhouse. Her favorite credits have included R2 (Boston Court Pasadena), Culture Clash (Still) in America (South Coast Repertory), Mojada: A Medea in Los Angeles (Getty Villa/ Boston Court Pasadena), The Bacchae (SITI Company at Getty Villa/ BAM/ Guthrie Theater), The Mountaintop (Geffen Playhouse), The Sound Inside (Pasadena Playhouse) and her short tenure as a substitute on Hamilton with its touring company at the Pantages Theatre in 2021. She is passionate about the inclusion of stage managers as artists and believes in mentoring the next generation into the field as someone who greatly benefited from the mentorship of many stage managers before her.
